Scheduling module launched and new code associations feature live!

We hope you're enjoying the start of spring as much as we are!

We've been working hard to finish up the scheduling module and we're pleased to announce that it is now ready for beta users. We've also added some new code association features that should help users complete their invoices much more efficiently. More information regarding both of these updates can be found below.

Scheduling launched!

Our scheduling module for ClinicAid is now in beta and initial testing has been very positive. This new feature will allow users to schedule their patients within the ClinicAid interface. Staff can keep track of patients in the clinic with the various statuses available for booking, checking in, in-room, visit completed, and billed.

Quick billing is also available directly from the schedule. Users just need to click the bill button and an invoice is prepared with all the necessary patient and physician information. Inserting the appropriate service and diagnostic codes will make the invoice ready for submission.

The beta for the scheduling module is open to every one of our ClinicAid users. If you're interested in trying it out, please let us know and we will be happy to get you set up!

New code association features are live

One of the other features we've been hard at work on is code associations for faster billing. ClinicAid users can now create "trigger" codes that, when selected, can auto-fill multiple codes associated with one another on invoices. For example, when billing an injection, an association can be created for the injection code to automatically also bill for the office visit. Code associations can be created easily through the ClinicAid interface and will allow users to save even more time when completing their billing.

For BC users, we've also added an age-based association code that automatically recognizes the patient's age and fills in the appropriate service code on an invoice. For example, when doing a complete examination in office, the age association code can be selected and the billing software will add the correct service code for that particular patient.
