ClinicAid's New Dashboard!

You may have noticed some changes recently, the biggest being our new Dashboard!

The new dashboard has fully retired the previous, instead replacing it with useful stats and quick links to reporting so you can get a much deeper view of your practice at a glance.

Dashboard Features

There is now a setup progress guide that will help get your account fully set up, a very handy pie chart that will show you all of your current active claims and where they are in the life cycle of being completed and paid by the province.

From the chart, you can click on any section and it will bring you to the associated view on your 'manage invoices' page. Gone are the days of clicking through your rejections one at a time!

You can also now view snapshots of your monthly revenue, how efficient you have been with your billing as well as your most common error codes, as well as which codes you submit are making you the most revenue.

You may drag and drop any of the new dashboard cards to reorder as you desire, as well you can click the 'configure dashboard' button at the top right to show or hide components as needed.



But I don't want all of my users to see this info!

That's ok, we have you covered! For those of you who are concerned about the additional reporting, these charts will only be visible to users who have the required permission levels.

Additionally, if you have users with provider restrictions set up, they will only be able to view data for the practitioners for whom they have permission to view!

New ClinicAid help portal and feedback button!

In addition to our new website (what do you think?)  you may have noticed we have a floating "send feedback" button at the bottom left of every ClinicAid account.  

This will submit directly to our ticket system so if you have a feature request, or just want to tell us you love the program this will be the place to do it! Additionally, from the feedback window you're able to include a screenshot of your current view so if you have an interesting problem that's easier to show than describe, you can just click the "take screenshot" button and it will be sent us a pic with your feedback ticket.

Improvements made to some ClinicAid features

We've made a few improvements to give user more control over additional options and time-savers in ClinicAid. These changes include a .pdf format for remittance reports, the ability to update Teleplan passwords for BC users, and the option to select from multiple quick forms when adding a new patient. Patient profiles feature released!

We're excited to announce that we've just released another brand-new feature, giving ClinicAid users access to patient profiles!

These profiles will allow users to search through patients more easily, set and search for patient statuses, select a physician for a patient, add employer information, and upload an image to patient profiles. An example of a profile can be seen below.

Sharing favourites lists, new billing restrictions and opportunities features released!

We've released a few new features in ClinicAid this month that should help you share favourites lists and default invoices with other users in your account, fix potentially restricted billing codes before submitting them, and find missed billing opportunities. We've been working hard to finish up the scheduling module and we're pleased to announce that it is now ready for beta users. We've also added some new code association features that should help users complete their invoices much more efficiently. More information regarding both of these updates can be found below.

New office notes and search features!

We recently released a new global feature to all of the provincial versions of ClinicAid. We also released a new search filter in Alberta that should help our users that work at multiple locations.

Searches should process much faster now as a result of an upgrade to ClinicAid's servers. The search logic also has been adjusted in order to make searches that draw on a lot of data run more smoothly and quickly.

Reciprocal Billing in BC - the How To guide

How often do you get your reciprocal out of province bills bounced back by MSP? The vast majority of them? You're not alone. When you first start submitting out of province bills in BC, it can certainly be confusing as to what information is required. Fortunately, we can help!

First off, breathe. Out of province reciprocal billing isn't that bad, you just need to make sure you've got your ducks in a row.

How ClinicAid Can Help

We handle the majority of the Reciprocal Billing process automatically. If you have created a patient with a Health Care type outside of BC, when you bill the patient we automatically create the invoice as an out of province bill.

It was a big year for CloudPractice!

Our billing software ClinicAid was launched into two new provinces; BC and Ontario with a great response from all of our new users. In BC, ClinicAid is directly integrated with MSP's Teleplan allowing physicians to validate patient PHN's in real time, check eligibility for yearly procedures, and submit claims directly to MSP, WCB, and ICBC.

Our Ontario launch has also been hugely successful as we have made it easier than ever to submit invoices to OHIP. Any physician using ClinicAid can submit directly to MCEDT with just their GoSecure details, so they will no longer have to deal with batching invoices, and time consuming uploads and downloads and reconciliations. We handle it all, automatically.
